This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys the full lifecycle of a project, taking a residential design from a conceptual sketch all the way through the City of Toronto/GTA building permit.
Qualifications
Certification: BCIN or OAA
Experience in Construction Drawings and Drawing, including the ability to produce precise technical documentation
Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (Part 9) and local municipal zoning by-laws
Expert-level skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Proficiency in Revit is a significant asset and will be prioritized
Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
Educational background in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field
A strong portfolio demonstrating a refined eye for residential architecture and detailing
Prior professional experience in architectural projects is preferred
