当地时间7月20日，一名美国退伍军人试图纵火烧毁纽约联邦大楼，楼内设有移民局、FBI和法院办公室。
视频显示，该男子在大楼入口前投掷了数个爆炸装置和烟花，火势被迅速扑灭。该男子还用气枪威胁过往行人。
目前，嫌疑人已被逮捕，其作案动机仍在调查中。FBI反恐部门已介入调查。
