据美国福克斯新闻网、《西雅图时报》等媒体报道，一架军用飞机当地时间13日在美国华盛顿州亚基马县坠毁，随后引发森林火灾，多架直升机参与火灾扑救工作。
福克斯新闻网援引当地消防部门消息称，飞行员在坠机前已成功弹射逃生，并被送往附近医院接受救治。
同样报道此事的美国“任务与目标”（Task & Purpose）网站称，坠毁的飞机是美国海军陆战队的一架F/A-18“超级大黄蜂”战斗机。美国海军陆战队第三航空联队13日晚间通报称，坠机事故大致发生在当天中午时分。该战机在进行例行训练时 “发生了非致命飞行事故”，事故原因目前正在调查中。
