5月25日，据中国新闻网消息，中国国民党主席郑丽文预计6月初赴美，报道称其此行的主轴拟聚焦“台海和平常态化”。
据台湾“中时新闻网”报道，郑丽文预计6月1日启程前往美国，为期两周的行程包括华盛顿、纽约、波士顿、洛杉矶、旧金山等地。
另据台湾《联合报》报道，郑丽文相关行程由中国国民党“驻美代表”秦日新等人安排。综合台媒报道，郑丽文近日在出席公开活动时表示，两岸和平基础是“九二共识”、反对“台独”。“台独”两个字摧毁台湾安全，“两国论”把台湾逼向战争边缘。台湾有钱不能乱花，应该投资和平，而非投资战争，要投资下一代，而不是让下一代去当兵打仗。
