Job Summary:
The Medical Clinic Secretary will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role involves performing administrative tasks, managing appointments, maintaining patient records, and supporting the medical staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer and manage phone calls, emails, and other communications.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records, both electronic and paper-based.
Prepare and process medical documents, reports, and correspondence.
Assist with billing and insurance claims as required.
Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient care.
Manage inventory of office supplies and medical forms.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or medical training is a plus.
Previous experience as a medical secretary, receptionist, or administrative assistant preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures is advantageous.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Detail-oriented and reliable.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
