Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for ensuring the properuse of appropriate tools to produce and assemble wood store fixtures based onengineering drawing specifications
2. Responsible for reading andinterpreting shop drawings and specifications
3. Responsible for the preparation ofthe cutting list and identification of cutting and machine requirements
4. Responsible for set-up, operationand maintenance of saws and other machines and tools required to complete the job
Design and manufacture of prototypes
5. Responsible for the design andconstruction of sub-assembly of jigs, templates and fixture patterns
6. Responsible for mentoringapprentices to help them further develop their skills
7. Ensure H&S policies and standardsare being followed at all times
8.Responsible for creation of BOM andCut List

Required Skills and Knowledge:
1. Ability to read and interpretAutoCAD shop drawings
2. Experience with health and safetypractices for woodworking
