Receiving and Inspection

Unload inbound trucks using forklifts or by hand, verify shipments against packing slips and report any damaged or defective products.
Inspect and record incoming goods, ensuring all materials meet quality and safety standards.

Inventory Management and Organization

Accurately label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations, maintaining a well-organized and clean warehouse environment.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Utilize ERP systems to enter and update inventory data, shipping records, and receiving logs in compliance with ISO requirements.

Order Fulfillment and Shipping

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer specifications.
Coordinate with the production team to prioritize and schedule outgoing shipments. Load delivery trucks using forklifts, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods for transportation.

Production Support

Coordinate with the production team to ensure continuous material availability and avoid downtime.
Track and monitor material consumption rates to assist in production planning.

Regulatory and ISO Compliance

Adhere to ISO and other regulatory material handling, storage, and transportation guidelines.
Ensure proper labelling and segregation of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to meet compliance standards.
Support audits and inspections by providing accurate inventory and process records.

Warehouse Optimization

Implement and maintain an efficient warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and accessibility.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.

Equipment Maintenance and Safety

Conduct routine maintenance checks for warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper storage of hazardous materials and safe handling practices.

Shipping and Logistics Coordination

Coordinate shipping schedules with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
Communicate with 3rd-party warehouses and suppliers to resolve logistical issues and ensure smooth operations.
Waste Management

Ensure proper disposal of damaged goods, expired products, or unusable materials according to company and environmental guidelines.

Cross-Departmental Communication

Liaise with purchasing, production, and quality assurance teams to align warehouse operations with business needs.
Communicate lead times or material shortages proactively to mitigate production delays.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

Monitor and report key warehouse performance metrics, such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, and picking/packing efficiency.
Provide input on budgeting for warehouse operations and equipment needs.

Other Duties

Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse and organizational objectives.
